# Editor Finder: find the right visual editor for your product

The Editor Finder is an interactive tool at https://www.editorstack.cc/finder. It asks six questions — what you are building, framework, hosting, licence, budget and required features — and matches the answers against the 34-product EditorStack dataset.

## How matching works

- Each answer becomes a requirement that reads one dataset field (for example `capabilities.self_hosted`).
- Outcomes: met, partly (plugin, add-on, community wrapper or limited), not verified (never excludes, never counts as met), missing.
- One missing requirement makes a product a near miss; two or more remove it.
- Order: requirements met, then fewest partial and unverified answers, then name. There is no score and no paid placement.

Results can be shared as URLs, e.g. https://www.editorstack.cc/finder?build=saas-page-builder&fw=react&deploy=self&req=white-label.

Agents can apply the same logic to https://www.editorstack.cc/api/libraries.json directly.
