Find the right visual editor for your product

Six questions, matched against 34 products in the EditorStack dataset. Every result says which of your requirements it meets, which it meets only partly, and which we could not verify.

Describe what you are building in a sentence. A rule-based parser — not an AI model — turns it into the questions below and matches it against the dataset, so it can only recommend what the data supports.

Step 1 of 6
What are you building?

Pick the closest match.

How matching works

Each answer becomes one or more requirements, and each requirement reads one field of the public dataset — for example “Self-hosted” reads capabilities.self_hosted, and “Works with Vue” reads tech.vue_wrapper and tech.framework_agnostic. The field names are printed on every result so you can check them in the open dataset.

A requirement has four possible outcomes for a product:

  • Met — the dataset records the capability as present.
  • Partly — present only through a plugin, a paid add-on, a community wrapper or in limited form.
  • Not verified — we have not confirmed the fact either way. Unverified facts never exclude a product, and they are never counted as a match.
  • Missing — the dataset records the capability as absent. One missing requirement moves a product to “near misses”; two or more remove it.

Results are ordered by the number of requirements met, then by the fewest partial and unverified answers, then alphabetically. There is no hidden weighting and no score, and no product can pay to rank higher — see the disclosure.

Ask EditorStack, the free-text box, is a fixed list of phrases mapped to the same questions. It shows what it understood and which words it ignored, so it cannot invent a requirement you did not state.
